Demonstration of bespoke mount cutting (throughout the day)

As I am never ready on time for HOS week so I thought this year I would plan in advance to make a feature of that and will be cutting bespoke mounts all through the day.  Visitors can see the tools I use and how I measure up a piece of artwork and create a mount to fit an off-the-peg frame.

This useful skill saves a lot of money on expensive framing and is surprisingly therapeutic for those who like measuring and cutting carefully.  I will be using a 45 degree angle cutter and showing how to hang the original in the mount to avoid buckling and how to present it smartly for sale.
