Let’s face it, February can be a dreary month, but you can beat the blues by enrolling on this creative day focussing on those cheerful flowers that herald the oncoming spring and brighten even the most wintery day with their sunny trumpets!

Based in Kings Somborne, which is awash with daffodils in February, participants will have a chance to explore the details of a variety of daffodils using drawing and painting techniques and considering how daffodils appear in mythology and poetry as well as interesting factoids to feed into your imagination.

Participants will be encouraged to practise observational drawing to begin with and then consider different approaches to the subject that reflect their personal style. A range of painting materials will be provided but you are welcome to supplement these with your own.  You can contact me to find out more.

I also provide a warm studio, daffodils, hot drinks and cake, advice and demonstrations.  Please bring a packed lunch and come prepared to enjoy yourself with a small group of nice people (max 4).
